AAC Public Tenants had the pleasure of hosting Federal Treasurer, Jim Charmers, on invitation by Dr Carina Garland member of Chisholm to meet out services providers in the surround area.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
The team attended the Social Housing Volunteer Awards.
Thanks to Marcus for organising the event which acknowledges the hard work of the public tenants volunteers.
MEETINGS:
We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 1pm to discuss Public Tenant issues, at the Batesford Community Hub.
The Office of Housing, Local MP’s and Community Agencies are invited to our meetings to hear our views and address our concerns.
In 2024 the housing offices will attend the office of the public tenants every fortnight to address any concerns.
Public and Proud – Free dinner fully catered by Holmesglen. Thank you to the band and the mothers Choir and Zoe Smith who sang for us and inspired many young children to show interest in a Kids got Talent in Ashwood/Chadstone.
PAST EVENTS:
Family Fun Day – Another very successful event, supporting local community and strengthening partnerships and creating strong networks with families and organisations.
The Blue Light Disco – led by Amaroo and supported by all the service providers in the area, was a very successful event.
NEWSLETTER:
We create a small newsletter twice a year with lots of relevant information about what is happening and we also highlight some of our local tenants.

EVENTS:
We host a number of social events and forums where delicious food and great entertainment are supplied free of charge to our local tenants.
